Documents Completed

I have now fully completed the documentation for Design for the Internet! I am happy with the website I created and happy with the illustrations and details I have provided within my report. I am now moving my website files onto a CD that is currently being formatted, which will then be sent for marking on the 9th of December.

Website Completed

I've now fully completed my website! I have shown the development of the website to my tutor in weeks 10 and 11 of the semester and all I need to do now is to finish my website report. The report will include all the information regarding the website, the code I used and the references used for gathering website information.

Website Forms

Now that I'm getting towards the end of my book, I've just finished how to use forms and the techniques of using forms. The site includes a functional form in the contact us page, which allows web site visitors to ask questions by submitting their details, including their name and email and the webmaster will reply to the query!

JavaScript

The website has now got a decent JavaScript element! This script enables the user to view an answer to a question that is posted on the site! There has also been a multimedia element added which is in the form of a video which is a great information source to watch as it includes detail on setting up aquariums.

Website Enhancements

The site is going well! I've included the majority of information for my site and I've also started my website report. The research has been conducted through a variety of online sites that have been displayed and written in my own words which has then been published onto my site. I've also made use of the border technique and managed to use links to act as buttons (but just being borders) so it doesn't take any additional time for the site to load!

Website Design

I'm halfway through the Web Development Book and I'm ready to start designing my site! I have included some basic information such as the links and how the logo and CSS should display. My synopsis has also been completed and I've stuck with my chosen subject about creating a website for fish keeping!

Site Research

This week I've been looking around some sites to grab some ideas on layout design that I could possibly use for my site.

This site has nice colouring and blends in well with the rest of the information that is published as well as having a logo at the top!

I like how this site "groups" information together so it is easy to read and I'm also fond of the left sidebar navigation area, I will definitely be using that!
